Lake Arrowhead State Park: Approximately 13,500 surface acres and 106 miles of shoreline. Facilities and activities include camping, picnicking, swimming, fishing, boating and wild life observation. New hiking and equestrian trails have been constructed within the park. Large steel oil derricks dot the lake, and waters surrounding the abandoned structures yield plentiful catches. Canoe Safari and Raft: Natural Adventures - Canoe Safari and Raft Rental. Natural Adventures is forging new trails in outdoor adventures on the Wichita River. Wichita Falls Waterfall: Built in 1986 to replace the falls which washed away in a flood more than a hundred years ago, the present 54-foot man-made waterfall is a multi-level cascade on the South bank of the Wichita River. Lucy Park Jogging, Walking & Rollerblading: Tree-lined and manicured trails promote walking, jogging and skating along four miles in the Northern part of the city. Riverbend Nature Works: An 15 acre environmental education center with pavilion which overlooks one of the most beautiful parts of the city. A one-mile interpretive nature trail loops through the site, providing visitors with a wetland pond, bird habitat, weather station, butterfly garden and trained field guides.

Red River Speedway - This facility is devoted completely to the family. No alcoholic beverages allowed on the premises. All children 10 & under are admitted free with an adult. The track consists of a state-of-the-art high banked asphalt racing surface for super fast racing. The track is 1/4 mile around on the inside stripe. Racing classes include Sportsman, Street Stocks, Pony Stocks and Lightning (featuring men and women drivers age 14 and up.) Races are held every Friday at 8 p.m., April - August.
